2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Basics

Every Land Cruiser is powered by an i-FORCE MAX hybrid system that produces 326 net combined horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque, resulting in its best-ever EPA-estimated 23 MPG combined fuel economy. Its full-time 4-Wheel Drive system continuously provides power to the front and rear wheels, giving you better traction on a variety of surfaces.

The Land Cruiser’s cabin provides seating for 5, plus convenient storage with 12 cup and bottle holders. Standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel keep you warm when it’s cold out, and three-zone automatic climate control includes a separate control panel for rear-seat passengers to control temperature settings. Behind the second-row seats is 37.5 cu. ft. of cargo space, and the 60/40 split rear seats fold down to make room for even more.

What’s New for 2024

The Land Cruiser returned in 2024 after a 2-year pause with a new design that seamlessly combines classic and modern styles. It has a boxy shape and black “TOYOTA” heritage grille, and it’s available in two-tone paint colors with a Grayscape roof. The Land Cruiser grade has rectangular LED headlights, while Land Cruiser 1958 and First Edition grades have round LED headlights.

Features Made for Adventures

With its long history as a capable off-road vehicle, the Land Cruiser has everything you’d want to travel over dirt roads, mud, rocks, and snow. It has a standard front skid plate to protect the engine, transmission, and transfer case and front and rear frame-mounted hooks for towing and recovery. Also standard are center and rear electronically locking differentials that give you more traction with the press of a button.

The Land Cruiser’s roof provides extra carrying capacity of up to 165 lbs. so you can bring along your large gear and equipment. In the cargo area, a 120V AC power outlet lets you power up household devices when you’re far from home. The First Edition even includes a console cool box to keep your food and drinks chilled while you travel.
