Trim Levels of the 2023 Toyota Highlander

There are six Highlander trims with a traditional gas option, all of which feature the 2.4l inline-four turbo engine. You’ll get 265hp, 310lb-ft of torque, and a fuel efficiency of 22mpg in city driving and 29mpg on the highway.

L

It might be the base model, but the L-trim Highlander comes with a range of convenient features. You’ll get a 7-inch color multi-information display and an 8-inch audio multimedia system with six speakers. It also comes with USB ports, a smart key system, and effortless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Three-zone automatic climate control and a power-adjustable driver’s seat will add to your comfort and convenience.

Like all Highlander trims, the L model also comes with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+.

LE

The LE offers an extra touch of luxury with a leather-trimmed gear stick and steering wheel, and added convenience with heated power outside mirrors and a height-adjustable power liftgate.

XLE

Heated front seats and a ten-way power-adjustable driver’s seat give you even more comfort on the XLE trim, while the power moonroof and 18-inch machine-finished alloy wheels add to the overall look. And it’s also possible to opt for the 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen and Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging on this model.

XSE

Trailing-wishbone suspension, a restyled front fascia with mesh grille and lower spoiler, a twin-tip exhaust, and a grey metallic-finished rear lower bumper with chrome trim combine to give this Highlander a distinctively sporty look and feel. The XSE also features SofTex-finished or leather-finished front and second-row seats.

Limited

You’ll get all the tech on this luxury model, with the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and 12.3-inch multimedia screen as standard, along with 11 JBL speakers. It also features front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, and an available panoramic view monitor and backup camera.

Platinum

The top-spec trim combines all the best features of other models, as well as an adaptive front-lighting system, a 10-inch color head up display, and panoramic glass roof.

Hybrid Models

Toyota’s 243hp 2.5l hybrid engine is also an available option for the Highlander, giving a fuel economy of 36mpg in the city and 35mpg on the highway. The five trims with this powertrain option are:

  • Hybrid LE
  • Hybrid XLE
  • Hybrid Bronze
  • Hybrid Limited
  • Hybrid Platinum

But no matter how much fun it is to read about, the best way to get to know the Highlander is to see it for yourself. Visit us at New Rochelle Toyota to arrange a test drive, or to find out more from our knowledgeable sales team.
